About the Graphic

What is a Town Graphic?

Town Square Graphics, Inc. , produces caricatures of small towns, communities or sometimes counties. These hand drawn renderings are known as Town Graphic®. Local merchants, landmarks and special events are featured. Town Graphic® are not intended to be scale or directional maps, but instead, an artist's hand-drawn depiction of the "character" of the town.

How are the participating businesses chosen?

Town Square Graphics, Inc., wants each Town Graphic® to be an accurate representation of the town, community or county. In order to provide this accurate depiction, our account executives approach each business in a town and present the Town Graphic® concept to the business owner. Each business owner has a chance to represent his/her business in a variety of fashions on the Town Graphic®. These variations include different building sizes, balloons, airplanes, boats, billboards, vehicles, etc.

Benefits of having a Town Graphic® for your community:

Each commemorative Town Graphic® of your town reflects your town as it appears today for the citizens of tomorrow. Participation on a Town Graphic® will express your interest in supporting your community. By placing your business alongside those of your neighbors on a Town Graphic®, you display team spirit in your own community. Often, a Town Graphic® becomes a collector's item and is framed and placed around the community, providing public coverage for your business on a daily basis. The average "frame-life" of a Town Graphic® is approximately 5-6 years.

Distribution of a Town Graphic®

Newspapers, Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, Area Businesses

Town Graphic® are distributed through a number of sources. One Primary distribution is through insertion in the local newspaper. This method of distribution provides high household penetration. Additional graphics are often given to the local Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, and/or other organizations for distribution to visitors and newcomers to the area. Each participant also receives copies of the graphic for their personal use. This form of blanket distribution creates a positive community response, because a Town GraphicŪ is available for everyone.

The first effort from Town Square Graphics, Inc. of Alpharetta was a big hit several years ago and can again remind all Henry Countians of what we look like today and will continue to remind of our community for years to come.

I would like to extend to you our compliments on the map of the Town of Ridgeland which your company produced. The maps are of fine quality and are representative of a large portion of businesses in Ridgeland.

Mona A. Dickson, Executive Director, Jasper County Chamber of Commerce

Over the years, we have observed the cohesiveness that can be built within a community by doing a project that will be viewed by the citizens and the business community as a "FUN" thing. We see this as a "WIN-WIN" situation for our businesses as well as our citizens, tourists and visitors.

Wade Stephens, Advertising Director, Neighbor Newspapers

Kristine, you were honest, straight-forward and fun, and you really took the time to understand our community and represent us well. This project has truly pulled our community together! We are pleased you chose to work with us, and couldn't be happier with the process nor with the results!

Carolyn R. Phillips, Coordinator of Economic Development, City of Winnfield

These maps have been so very successful and everyone loves them. I'm so glad we went with your company. Jim and Rich were awesome and I'd love to be a reference any time you need one.

Jill Lagan, Boulder City Chamber of Commerce

What a pleasure it was receiving the much anticipated Dunnellon character map! It was so very easy working with you, in fact I didn't have to do a thing and yet the Chamber is making money off this endeavor! I recommend Town Square Graphics to any organization, city or town that is interested in a fun, money making item for their area.

Penny Lofton, Executive Director, Dunnellon Area Chamber of Commerce

We feel this attractive graphic will be around for years to come as both a keepsake and a city guide.

Paul and Town Square did a great job and I look forward to including the publication in our re-location packages and using them as a tourism-marketing tool. Again our thanks to Town Graphics and Paul Frank for a job well done.
